I have this thing every morning, that seems to happen almost by itself. When I start setting up my yoga mat and props my mind starts to drop inward, into silence. It’s palpable and spreads out into the room and then often I just spend 10 minutes or so standing there in Tadasana, with my eyes closed, doing nothing, just breathing.
No, just referring you to HOS.com for more of that type of music, if you are interested. HOS = Hearts of Space. Being a bay area girl? You already may know of it from Judith.
HOS.COM. Originally on KPFA, Berkeley. They exclusively offer space and ambient music. Ironically, I listen to them when I really need to slow down. I live in a very quiet environs, but get my mind wound up none the less, I think because there are no sound distractions. Thus, I need one to disconnect my thoughts occasionally.
This morning I’ve decided to stay in bed longer, to not plan my day and not thinking about tomorrow.
This is how I slow down.
Sounds perfect
I think the video perfectly captures how most of us feel these days - rushing headfirst into life with little time to press pause and stop!
Personally, I will slow down today by taking time to practice yoga nidra.

Today I will plant my feet in the earth, get my hands in the dirt and plant bulbs in hope of spring.
Such a beautiful image 💗 thank you.
Music from the hearts of Space with Steve Davis?
Are you asking for the name of the music in the video?
