I sit and pray to God to "allow His voice to come thru me and let the teaching be received in love and joy to enhance someone's life and make a difference".

I teach on Zoom too, so find this a good question. I set up the space with the props in view, decide on my opening asana and use the bathroom. I always open with the same welcome sentences to connect my voice to my body and brain. I also step to the very center of my mat and exhale down through my body to the bottom of my feet into Tadasana.

I ask my mentors that have passed, to use me . Also make me aware if anyone needs something special.

Depends on the class setting. finest rituals when I teach in a studio. before anyone arrives, I bow to the space and chant a version of Asatoma. Then at the end, I bow again and give thanks.
