Hi Lizzie, I always look forward to reading your email ~ it's like opening a little surprise package, after which I feel more grounded. And relaxed. And inspired. I appreciate your authenticity, & the way you craft your words, your photography... I appreciate you! Thank you :) Sending love, the girl who gave you a magnolia in Brisbane.
I love to hear and see from you, because you always make me feel better about myself. That it is good to slow down, take rest and in fact necessary! Somehow I need to learn that stop running around is ok.
I appreciate your authenticity, brevity, non-preachiness. I always read your little emails because I know I'll feel a little lift in my heart. I learn about this from you. I also enjoy the 'picture tells a thousand words' images you include. Thanks for showing up as you.
Lizzie - I like the way you navigate social media - from the get go - with you sitting meditating in all sorts of crazy places on insta to now with your toddler love letters - like others it's the sense of connection we crave - kooky honest and brave - savasana is my daily practice around 4pm so I'm a nicer person in the evenings :) + sitting mediation, pranayama & exercises most mornings - permission to be whoever I am - thanks for all your work - your service is appreciated -much love xxx
My goodness, I forgot about that first "Living with The Buddha" series - such a journey to find my voice on social media. Thank you for being here, Alli. And thanks for practicing Savasana with me today!!!
Lizzie, your news letter does two thinks for me. Gives me ideas for focus in my yoga lessons I teach. Second, As teaching yoga is a solitary profession, your news letter helps me feel connected to other teachers and yogis🙏🏻
It has become a part of my practice. To read the words of someone who, like me, is on a journey in this human container. It reminds me to check in with my practice on and off the mat. I'm always grateful for those opportunities to join you on the mat or listen to Mary or Judith which presents an opportunity to fill up so that I can be present for others.
I enjoy the small vignettes from your everyday life that you share. It makes me feel comforted to read about the flaws and challenges in topics that are supposed to be “perfect” in our lives (like motherhood and family). So relatable for me to hear someone say they are sometimes sad or frustrated in the midst of lots of joy. But it’s also always written with gratitude and reverence, and yes joy. Thank you. Helps me connect to what’s real and appreciate my own life for what it is without comparisons to others.
Lizzie, I always enjoy the connection I feel with you—hearing about your children and daily life and your wise perceptions, your humour. I’m in Toronto so feel I’m equidistant between you and my (other) wise teacher, Judith. I also like that you remind me to do restorative Savasana regularly, and when you do it with us it seems to increase the enjoyment.
Every Sunday I teach a restorative sequence to our group of 10. I'm hoping for new restorative ideas. My yoga is, "Pop quiz, where is your consciousness and what is it doing?"
Lizzie, thank you so much for Sunday Savasana Series & other communiqués with various news & updates in the week. Each one centers me into my right brain as a delightful, mini break…almost as if I had meditated! I know the thoughtful & consistent outreach is a lot of effort but it is so appreciated, enjoyed & affective. Be well! 🙏🏻🤗
I enjoy reading your emails about you, your family, and I love your point of view. You allow me into your life and give me a sense of the yoga community that I do not have where I currently live. And you give me some direction for my practice where, because of some injuries, I was floundering. I look forward to your emails. Thank you!
I enjoy reading your content and the stories about your family and your children's love letters and how you work to put a positive spin on things that could be frustrating and overwhelming as times. I know I have a lot of work to do, creating my own space for myself and I value the resources you gift to your followers. I can relate, that is what keeps me coming back each week.
i love the frankness and the wonderful way you bring me back to the present, thankyou sarahx
Thank YOU for being here, Sarah.

Awww, thanks. I appreciate you, Kylie

Yes yes yes. Slowing down is gold.

"Lift in my heart" - how wonderful. I'll take it!

I love how you show up in the world. I love the nuggets you share. I love how real and authentic you are.
Thanks, Wenday. Love having YOU here.

We are so connected, Milo. Will you make it to the Feathered Pipe Ranch this summer?

Well said: "filling up to be present for others." That's exactly the aim of RY. Thank you, BJ!

Flawed, but graceful. Absolutely!
Any chance of hearing from a Lasater makes my day. Sorry, 1 am (Bay Area, CA) is not likely unless I get insomnia attack. hugs
Hugs to you, Emiko!

Restorative savasana is magic. Thank you for being here with me, Lyn

Love that "pop quiz" question. Befriending consciousness is a beautiful image.
Thank you for keeping it real :)
Always, Lisa 💕

Loneliness is real. Writing absolutely helps me feel connected too. Thank you for reading, Cathy
