I've been enjoying the book ALOT. And my takeaways from this most recent section were the same as yours Lizzie - those four fundamental truths about the brain-disease model. Superb. Keep the podcasts coming! Thank you for your commitment to guiding us through this book. <3

So appreciate this podcast!!! I have wanted to read this bool for awhile but intimidated by the denseness of it. You and Mary break it down and make it easy to digest! Thank you!! What section will you be covering in the next pod cast?

Thank you so much to you both. I read the Body Keeps the Score a few years ago (cover to cover) but have never had anyone to discuss it with. Its fascinating to listen to Mary and her wonderful way of making the material very accessible. Looking forward to the next one!!

Just listened while making st Patrick’s day gifts of food for my family. I LOVE what you two are sharing right now: please continue: Mary in closing, I have spent the last ten years trying to fix everything (neurological autoimmune: digestive issues) and to be a present wife and mother. I loved what you said about it NOT being our job to fix everything l. In fact it’s impossible. Love you both. Greatest gift for me is motherhood:without a doubt:and I still love to PLAY!

Any form of slow pelvic tilts and spinal rolls linked with breath I can think of, sitting standing, lying, anything… I love that I can do it as small or as big as I like and wherever I am.
