Have you ever considered giving up your illusion of being an adult?

At 70, I believe I am still a responsible 12 year old. When I remember this I am curious & present with what ever is happening. Yes, my house is messy. A result of there being a limited amount of time, not knowing when that time will run out and way more important things... like making whimsy.. watching that interesting bug, going outside, seeing the clouds pour over the hill as the eagle flies by........ Perhaps my messy house is a result of having more than I need? Thanks for inspiring me to consider this. Kath

Oh, what a wonderful thought experiment, Kath. New mantra for the week: what if I give up my illusion of being an adult? Love it!

Oh you cannot even imagine how much I can relate to your comment this week. I must admit the most beautiful moment of my extremely busy week-end was building a cabane in the woods with my 4 years old. Activity which I undertook only reluctanly upon his insistence. And then I realised that I should listen more to my children and take them as an example because they are very wise and little natural Yogis who know how to live in the present moment!
