Note to self: you are doing great
Spotted this message at the Denver airport last Sunday. And it made me laugh out loud.
I imagine, like me, you’re juggling work and family, self-care and caring for others, physical and mental health, stress and rest. With so many moving parts, it’s likely that you’re being too hard on yourself: self-critical, unrelenting, unfair. Am I right?
I’m writing from the Feathered Pipe Ranch deep in the woods of Montana. It’s a gorgeous place for yoga and silence, nature and magic. Like just this week, a Mama deer and her twin baby fawns crossed the path right in front of me. It felt like the universe winking.
I’ve been coming here my entire life, but this year feels especially heartwarming to gather in community after so many years of isolation.
Please save the date: August 5th-12th, 2023. I’ll be back here teaching a sloooow flow and Restorative yoga workshop with Mama. Space strictly limited to 38 students, so if you’re tempted, please email Joanne in the office today to reserve your spot with a $500 deposit: office@featheredpipe.com
I promise you won’t regret giving yourself a spacious week to re-wire your relationship to time. And silence.
Talk soon,
Lizzie
