Meditating with Mama
Wrapped in a blanket in the early morning birdsong quiet of my studio this morning, Felix and I lit a candle and some palo santo incense, and then sat for a few minutes of silence.
Well, I wasn’t talking much. But when Felix, my 2.5 year-old son, “meditates with Mama”, he whispers to himself.
But isn’t that exactly what I’m doing too? When I hold space for silence, I’m able to notice how the judgments and opinions of my mind tumble out. In·ces·sant·ly.
This noticing, this dis-identification with thought, this sliver of spaciousness, is what brings me back again and again to the mat.
I’m so delighted to announce that we’re re-releasing our beloved Savasana Intensive course with brand new updated video content. (If you’re already enrolled, you’ll find the new videos waiting for you when you login here.)
And to celebrate, we’ve created a bundle of courses with the very clever title of Intensive Intensive.
This bundle includes our Savasana Intensive, Pranayama Intensive, and Meditation Intensive courses. Plus a three-day workshop called Silence is Everywhere.
And, if you join before June 1st, we’re sweetening the deal with an enrollment in our massive Yoga Myths course. That means you get a 67% discount when you sign up this month for the Intensive Intensive bundle. May it serve your practice.
(If you’re already enrolled in some of these courses, you can gift the redundant ones to anyone you like when you join the bundle. Just reply here and I’ll help get you sorted.)
Lastly, you’re all invited to join Mama and me for a free live Savasana Session on Tuesday, May 17th at 10:30 am Salzburg time. Sorry, my American friends, I know it’s early for you. But the recording goes out here next weekend. Here’s the link to register for free and join us live on Zoom.
Sending love,
Lizzie
