That’s what I caught myself thinking this week: I don’t have time to go outside. It was one of those fall days that starts foggy and then turns bright in the afternoon. The twins were in the garden with Nico, and I’d been working inside all day.
But some inner critic said, essentially, “you don’t have time to enjoy this moment.” Why? “Because, hop hop, you need to get back to work.”
Do you know this feeling? Do you hear this voice?
Perhaps these can help: a few short conversations with Yoga Nidra hero James Reeves. They are about befriending rest, letting go of FOMO, and how James himself actually rests. I’m a subscriber to his excellent weekly Zoom practice sessions. Highly recommend.
And season 2 of our Somatic Self Care Podcast is here. Mary Richards created a complete training sequence called Somatic Strength Basics for us. All you need is a yoga belt and set of resistance bands. It’s so much fun. Here’s the link to listen to the first episode. And you’ll find the whole season waiting for you here and on Apple Podcasts.
Ok, darling. Enough for today.
Until next Sunday,
Lizzie

I wear this bracelet from my collection almost daily. It represents the ebbs and flows of life, the commitment to self and others —through thick and thin. And, this week, it’s on sale!
