I’ve just spent the week with 33 yogis from around the world. We gathered in Southern Italy from Alabama, Minneapolis, Florida, California, Canada, Herefordshire, Sweden, Sydney, Salzburg, and everywhere in between.
The days were spacious. We ate vegetarian food around big tables and danced in the rain and swam and shopped and ate gelato. We also moved our bodies and made space for rest.
In terms of yoga, a lot of what we did was unlearning. Unlearning unhealthy habits in the active poses, and learning how to be more comfortable in silence. I asked each student to summarize their learning/unlearning in a single word and here’s the amazing list:

And my word was spaciousness. So that’s our theme for next year: Spacious Silence. Save the date: I’ll be returning to Yoga in Salento from September 13-20th, 2025.
With a €300 deposit you can reserve a single room and secure a special rate before January 1st. Just email the office info@yogainsalento.com to make your reservation.
Until next Sunday,
Lizzie

If I wanted to bring my daughter if she is able to come does the single room hold two people…would the amt be $600 then? This trip speaks to me
